Penobscot Narrows Bridge Observatory and Fort Knox Historic Site , open daily to public, fantastic views of the state of Maine from the top of the 42-story (442 feet) high observation tower, parking and elevator. The new bridge¹s Observation Tower is the first such innovation of it's kind in the United States and only the third in the world. The other two bridges with Observation towers are in Thailand and Slovakia. Fort Knox is one of the best preserved fortifications on the New England seacoast. The Fort has many architectural features, as well as a rich history behind its cannon batteries. Events and encampments throughout the summer.
