Right here! We have our own lighthouse. It was built in 1965 by Chester
S. Russell, the first proprietor of the Seascape. Constructed of concrete,
the lighthouse stands ten feet tall and is illuminated. It is located at
the entrance to the Seascape and is one of the most photographed lighthouses
in Belfast! There are several other full scale, operating lighthouses in
our area. They are easily accessible by car. Pemaquid, Rockland Breakwater,
and Fort Point are just a few of the lights well worth visiting.
